Hi, I'm Barbara Horn and welcome to my portfolio site!

I am currently a student at Thiel College, and will receive my Bachelor of Science degree in Web Development May 2012. During my college career, I have managed several large projects which are represented within my portfolio. My GPA and dedication reflects that I have been successful in completing my curriculum as well as graduating one year early. I have been working and creating web sites since high school. I enjoy creating different and unique layouts for websites. I have also produced three yearbooks as assistant and editor, while attending college which has provided me experience with Adobe InDesign, layouts, and photo editing.

A web site is a key marketing tool for businesses as well as individuals. In today's world, which is evolving rapidly, businesses have to keep up or risk being obsolete and outdated to succeed. What better way to promote yourself and your business than providing potential customers an appealing website that will help increase profits and gain customers over a wider spectrum. I enjoy working with computers and am always willing to broaden my knowledge and expand my skills by adopting new techniques with web building.

As you will see from my resume, I have gained a vast amount of experience within the field of web programming. I have also successfully completed course requirements and built excellent relationships with my professors and peers, which proves my ability to be adaptable and flexible to both internal and external demands of college life.
