In case you missed the large graphic immediately above this text, my name is Randall McPherson. This website is part of a website class that I am currently taking at Thiel College. The site serves as a way of obtaining real-world experience in html coding throughout the course. As a result, its content is a largely meaningless profile of my life and interests. Click a link in the navigation bar on the left to find out more...if you care to. Also, check out my web site dedicated to distributed computing (my final project).
Alternatively, you can read the brief synopsis of my life that follows. I was born in Connecticut, near Norfolk, but only lived there for the first 9 months of my life. I have no memory of that period, of course. From there, our family moved to the Hudson Valley of New York, where I spent the first nine years of my life. From there it was a short move to the Catskill mountains, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Then, when I was about 11, I finally moved to Pennsylvania where I have lived ever since. Why did I move so much? What did I do during that time? That's a long story - 19 years long. Suffice it to say that now I'm at Thiel College.
Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in. I drink at it; but while I drink I see the sandy bottom and detect how shallow it is. Its thin current slides away, but eternity remains. - Henry David Thoreau |
